Joel Smith, Director of Rapid Continuous Improvement at Keurig Dr Pepper in Plano TX, has been referred to by one colleague as a “Statistical Powerhouse”. He certainly has the background for the comment. Following 13 years with Minitab, the process enhancement software provider, culminating as Channel Manager he moved to his current position with Keurig Dr Pepper. Aside from being a former chair of the ASQ Statistics Division Joel is also the author of the “Random Thoughts” column in Six Sigma Forum magazine and the Applied Statistics Manual.
